Dr Cynthia Honan, Senior Lecturer and Clinical Neuropsychologist at the University of Tasmania discusses the ways in which diet, exercise, and sleep might improve cognition and mental functioning. Dr Honan gives us practical tips for improving cognition and mental functioning as well as some other everyday practical tips for managing cognitive symptoms and fatigue.

Dr Cynthia Honan is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychological Sciences, University of Tasmania. She also holds appointments at Launceston General Hospital and the Menzies Medical Research Institute in Hobart.
Dr Honan is an experienced neuropsychology clinician having worked with people with MS for over 12 years.
Her research focuses on cognitive functioning, fatigue, social functioning, and employment outcomes in MS.
Cynthia is also currently investigating brain- and gut-based biomarkers of cognition and fatigue, and the impact of sleep quality on everyday functioning.
