Nadine's story

I’m so grateful for having the opportunity to have an occupational therapist come and see me. And the fact that was provided because someone donated means the world to me.

Nadine

Nadine was leading an active life with a successful career when she suddenly started experiencing vertigo, numbness and fatigue – symptoms of MS. We put Nadine in touch with an occupational therapist, who visited her home. Learn about Nadine’s experience and how she regained a sense of normality in her life.

Seeing MS

Most symptoms of multiple sclerosis go unnoticed by everyone except the person living with them. One day they can alter your memory, the next your vision. Striking without warning and leaving no trace, they are invisible. The Seeing MS project invited nine photographers to depict each symptom in a single image, inspired by stories of those touched by the condition.

You can uncover each symptom by watching our Seeing MS YouTube playlist.
